The importance of this Grand Georgian Building demanded exceptional design expertise. Any additions to such a property takes real skill to enable the finished article to integrate with its host. To achieve this in this case, the fretwork from the Portico was mirrored onto the Orangery fascia and dentil blocks added to reflect the eaves of the main building. Granite pillars completed the design, which again echoed the Portico and gave the new structure a sense of grandeur.

The finished result as viewed from both the exterior and interior was indeed truly pleasing. The end result fully justified the effort put in at the design stage, creating an Orangery that just looked as though it had always been there. At least it will do soon, with a little help from a touch of weathering.

What a priveledge to have been invlolved in such a great project!
